The
Worker's Compensation Program was established in 1911 to encourage employers
to make the workplace safer by requiring safety programs and use of safety devices.
Since 1911, there have been 2.5 million worker's compensation claims filed.
Hearing loss claims now rank #3 in the number of occupational disease claims
filed.

Hearing
Loss:
Not all hearing losses qualify,
but many do. We're happy to see if you qualify. Certain thresholds of hearing
loss must be met:
- Current Claims: you must
have left the work noise less than 12 years ago and loss averages more than
30 db average at 500, 1000, 2000 and 3000 Hz.
- Barred Claims:
you must have left the work noise
more than 12 years ago and loss averages more than 20% based on differing
formulas.
